Originally from Maine, Jacob spent his summers growing up visiting job sites with his family’s construction business. Having inherited a love of the craft, Jacob obtained his master’s degree in architectural history from the University of Copenhagen. Subsequently, he started his own millwork company and then later worked as a Project Manager for high-end residential and commercial projects in New York City. Since moving back to Maine, Jacob has worked extensively in the commercial and institutional sectors including contracts at Bath Iron Works, building facilities for the military, and renovating Maine’s oldest opera house. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, Jacob is a bridge between the design and construction teams to coordinate logistics, communicate with sub-contractors, and oversee the entire construction progress. With careful attention to detail and a clear communication style, Jacob works to ensure projects adhere to quality, budget, and schedule.
