Kira’s passion for design and construction began as a little girl growing up in an old Victorian home in Massachusetts. She has spent most of her life helping renovate and restore her childhood home to its former glory. It has left her with a great appreciation for the beauty and craftsmanship of times gone by. Kira went on to receive her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in MA with a major in Architectural Studies and later an A.S. in Interior Design from Hesser College in NH. Before joining Knickerbocker Group, Kira worked in the nonprofit sector in NH assisting with the development of large affordable housing projects. More recently, Kira owned a design and contracting business in the Bangor area where she provided a variety of services from interior design to carpentry and tile installation. At Knickerbocker Group, she is excited to be part of such a creative and collaborative team.
In her spare time, Kira enjoys outdoor activities with her family, drawing, refinishing furniture, and renovating her home.

KG CULTURE, MISSION + VALUES
Kira values how family-oriented Knickerbocker Group is—she recognizes team members are encouraged to take time to spend with families and take care of their children. Dogs are brought to the office, and she loves the culture.
LIFE IN MAINE
Recently, a drive to Caribou created a moment of pause—there is something about Northern Maine. The farmland and mountains, Katahdin, and the vast wilderness. It is a simply awe inspiring and a very special place in Maine.
